The Information Technology Department is dedicated to delivering high quality technical service to the students, employees and community. It is our goal to continuously meet the technological needs of all students, staff, faculty and visitors.
The Language Lab serves the language learning and teaching needs of Oakton's Modern Languages department, students of English as a Second Language, and the general Oakton community. Labs are housed on both the Skokie and Des Plaines campuses, and provide a rich array of services.
The Learning Center is open to in-person visitors Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Email and voicemail are also checked throughout the day. All messages will be returned within 24 hours (or 1 business day). Please include your name and Oakton ID Number in any communications. Learning Center services are provided both remotely and in-person (in a limited capacity).
Continuing Education, Training, and Workforce Development
Online learning courses make it possible to go to college even if you have family, job, or travel obligations that prevent regular attendance in a classroom. You may enjoy the flexibility of taking courses and completing assignments at times and places of your choosing.

Oakton's Testing Center provides testing services to support incoming and current Oakton students, as well as members of the community.
