Oakton is a certified testing location for ICB, Kryterion, INACE testing. Certiport tests can also be taken here.

Certiport

Certiport offers certification testing for various software products.

Oakton students completing Microsoft & Quickbooks classes should discuss certification with their instructors. Those who are not in an Oakton program can purchase vouchers from Certiport and take exams at Oakton. A proctoring fee of $20 will be assessed.

Constitution
Illinois residents completing their High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) are required to take the U.S. and Illinois Constitution test. The state has paused administration of the Constitution test.

ICB - Illinois Certification Board

ICB offers certification testing for various counseling and substance abuse professionals.

Oakton students completing the program as well as community members can test at Oakton.

Tests are scheduled through ICB. Oakton charges a $20 proctoring fee.

All ICB testing is administered at the Des Plaines campus.

Kryterion Tests

Kryterion administers testing for various professions. Tests are purchased in advance and scheduled through Kryterion.

Kryterion tests are administered at the Skokie campus.

INACE - Illinois Nurse Aide Certification Examination

The Nurse Assistant Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) offers the Nurses Aide Certification Exam.

Oakton students completing the program as well as community members can test at Oakton.

Test takers purchase and register for tests at .

Tests are given at the Skokie campus.
